If you want to register an account, there are a few things you should know first...
Please have a swift gander over the Rules. It is a must you see them before registering.
First off, there are two different types of accounts- Global and Local!
Global Accounts can be used on any other EZ Board, while Local Accounts can only be usedon Hogsmeade!
I suggest a Global Account if you plan on visiting different EZ boards, but a local one if you are just going to post on Hogsmeade.
Before you even bother registrating, though; make sure you read the rules and information about sign-ups!
Read the following points too:
*If you are just registering to advertise, don't bother trying! One-time posting advertisers are not welcome.
*If you constantly break rules (as in almost every day, or often) [ie. swearing, being prejudice, and all that lovely stuff..] then you will be banned for a period of time. Depending on how bad it is will depend on if you are notified or not.
*Respect administrator and moderator decisions. They usually have very good reasons for the decisions they make despite how unfair they may seem.
*Treat others just as you want them to treat you.
*Please ask questions for the admins & mods on the Questions, Suggestions, and Complaints board.
*You should know about the new siggy ban:
Personal Pictures
1) Musn't take up too much space. If they fill a quarter of the page, they're too big.
2) Must not be vulgar, or offensive. (ie. a nude person!! This is a Harry Potter board ya know)
And, that's all for that.
Signatures
1) Can't have anything offensive in it. (ie. swear words, racial biased, or offensive to any other group of people, etc.)
2) Cannot have Java Script!
3) Should not have wayyyyyyy too many images! (if it takes more than five minutes to load per post, it has too many in it)
*As for giving out personal info on the net, it is recommended you don't reveal too personal stuff. (ie. especially adress, birthdate, full name and a picture of yourself) However, the Ministry of Magic's opinion that you guys can make the decision if you want to reveal that kind of stuff to complete strangers is fair enough to me. If you post this info, we won't edit it out, but it is still recommended you don't.
